Boss Eddie Howe believes both graduates are important for the club's future, with Partington set to sign a two-year deal and McQuoid agreeing a new one year-contract. Howe told the Bournemouth Echo: "Joe is versatile and we may look for him to be involved in different positions. He could play at centre-half or centre midfield, depending on how fit everyone is." He also said of McQuoid: "He wasn't involved towards the end of the season but he showed a good attitude and has a lot to prove in pre-season."
