The 22-year-old's initial loan period expired after Tuesday night's 3-0 win over Barnet but the deal has now been extended and the player is delighted to be staying on the south coast.

He told the club's official website: "It was emotional at the end of the (Barnet) game because I love playing here now and I can't wait for another month at the club.

"The reaction at the end meant a lot to me because it's always nice to feel appreciated and I can't thank the supporters enough because they have been brilliant again and I hope I can repay them for that support over the next month."

Wiggins also had a successful loan spell at Dean Court from Crystal Palace last season before joining the Canaries in the summer.
