Cherries have today completed the signings of Steve Lovell, Michael Symes and Marc Pugh.[LNB] The news comes after the Football League last night gave the club the green light to bolster the Dean Court playing resources - as exclusively revealed on the Echo website in the past hour.[LNB] Boss Eddie Howe has been unable to make any permanent signings for 17 months due to Cherries' ongoing transfer embargo.[LNB] And although the ban was loosened in March, the club are still subject to a rolling embargo with each signing requiring clearance from the Football League.[LNB] A host of players have been linked with the club in recent weeks, including former Dean Court favourite Steve Purches and ex-loan star Rhoys Wiggins.[LNB] But Howe has moved to strengthen his attacking options with Lovell and Symes, as well as Hereford winger Pugh.[LNB] Howe's brother Lovell has been a long-term target for the Dean Court outfit, with the former Falkirk frontman training with Cherries early last season.[LNB] However, despite offering to play for free, any hopes of Lovell signing last season were ended by the league embargo.[LNB] Symes made five appearances during a month-long loan spell under former boss Jimmy Quinn at the end of 2008, but failed to score.[LNB] However, after moving to Accrington Stanley, Symes found the net 19 times in all competitions for John Coleman's men last term.[LNB] Pugh, meanwhile, impressed for the Bulls against Cherries last season, scoring both goals in their 2-1 win over Howe's men in September. He also netted the consolation goal in a 2-1 defeat at Dean Court in April.[LNB]
