Here's the weekend round up of the action around League Two. Rochdale extended their lead at the top of the table back to 5-points with a single goal win over Macclesfield at Moss Rose. O'Grady netted the only goal of the game on the hour mark. The win leaves Dale (probably) 6 wins away from automatic promotion. Macclesfield 21st, Rochdale 1st. Shrewsbury Town boosted their chances of automatic promotion with a 1-0 win over AFC Bournemouth at the New Meadow. Duffield netted the only goal of the game 4 minutes in to the second half. Shrewsbury Town 6th, AFC Bournemouth 2nd. Bury failed to take advantage as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Barnet at Underhill. Barnet 17th, Bury 3rd. Chesterfield, with 12 home wins under their belt already this season, surprisingly lost 1-0 at home to Aldershot Town at Saltergate. Hylton netted the only goal of the game for the Shots in the 64th minute. Chesterfield 4th, Aldershot Town 10th. Rotherham United collected their 9th victory on the road this season following a 1-0 win over Burton Albion at The Pirelli Stadium. Le Fondre netted the only goal of the game in the 52nd minute. Burton Albion 13th, Rotherham United 5th. Notts County sounded saw off Hereford United at Meadow Lane, running away with a 5-0 win. Westcarr netted a hat-trick with goals in the 34th, 56th and 73rd minutes. The hat trick being completed from the penalty spot after Adamson was sent off. Rodgers got in on the act with an 89th pen and another a minute later to round off a miserable afternoon for the Bulls as they also saw Downing sent off. Notts County 7th, Hereford United 18th. Northampton Town left it late to claim their 6th home win of the season at Sixfield against Cheltenham Town. Akinfenwa gave the Cobblers the lead in the 52nd minute, with Watkins levelling for the Robins in the 78th minute. The winner came with 5 minutes to go when Harris netted. Northampton Town 8th, Cheltenham Town 22nd. The long wait for Grimsby Town to claim a win goes on as they slipped to a 2-0 defeat against Dagenham & Redbridge at Victoria Road. Scott in the 49th minute and Green with 4 minutes to go, compounded Town's misery at the bottom of League Two, leaving them 7 points adrift of safety. Dagenham & Redbridge 9th, Grimsby Town 23rd. Morecambe maintained their hopes of making the play-offs as they won 1-0 against Port Vale at Christie Park. Jevons netted the only goal of the game in the 20th minute. Morecambe 11th, Port Vale 14th. Accrinton Stanley still harbour making the play-offs, but those thought took a knock at Plainmoor against Torquay United as the Devon-side claimed a very late winner to ease their relegation worries. Mansell gace the Gulls the lead in the 50th minute, with Symes levelling in the 69th minute. Heartbreak for Stanley as Kempton netted the winner for the home side in the 95th minute. Torquay United 20th, Accrington Stanley 12th. Honours even at Sincil Bank as Lincoln City draw 1-1 with Crewe Alexandra. Somma gave the Imps the lead in the 46th minute, with Miller levelling with 6 minutes to go. Lincoln City 19th, Crewe Alexandra 15th. They are effectively 17 points adrift of safety with just 17 matches left after Bradford City collected a 1-0 win over hapless Darlington at Valley Parade. Hanson netted the only goal of the game in the 26th minute. Bradford City 16th, Darlington 24th.
