Here's the weekly round up of action around League Two. AFC Bournemouth failed to go level on points with Rochdale at the top of League Two, going down to a 39th minute Arber penalty against Dagenham & Redbridge at Victoria Road. Dagenham & Redbridge 10th, AFC Bournemouth 2nd. Bury also failed to close the gap, as they went down to a 58 th minute strike from Boden at Saltergate against Chesterfield. Chesterfield 6th, Bury 3rd. Rotherham United closed the gap on the automatic promotion places with a 2-1 win over Lincoln City at Sincil Bank. With Swaibu sent off for the home side in just the 13th minute, Le Fondre netted from the penalty spot moments later. Roberts doubled the advantage in the 65th minute, leaving Lennon to score a consolation in the 77th minute. Lincoln City 20th, Rotherham United 4th. Shrewsbury Town claimed local bragging rights over Hereford United at the New Meadow as they ran away with a 3-1 win over their near neighbours. Constantine had given the Bulls a 5th minute lead, before Langmead (15th min), Cansdell-Sherriff (24th min) and Coughlan (79th min) claimed the points for the Shrews. Shrewsbury Town 5th, Hereford United 18th. Aldershot Town won a bad tempered match (not for the first time in recent weeks) at Sixfield, running away with a 3-0 win over Northampton Town. Following an 11th minute dismissal for Thornton for the Cobblers, Morgan netted for the Shots moments later. Hudson doubled the advantage in the 68th minute, with Morgan completing a brace in the 75th minute. Northampton Town 9th, Aldershot Town 8th. After a decent recent run, Burton Albion slipped up at home against Crewe Alexandra. Miller gave the Alex a 27th minute lead, which saw Harrad level a minute later. Donaldson scored the winner with 6 minutes to go for the visitors. Burton Albion 11th, Crewe Alexandra 15th. Surely the writing is on the wall for Darlington after their 12th defeat on the road, and 20th in total for the season so far? Their latest defeat came against Morecambe at Livingstone Road as Jevons (9th min) and Mullin (58th min) sealed a 2-0 win for the home side, leaving Darlo (effectively) 13 points adrift of safety. Morecambe 13th, Darlington 24th. Port Vale have play-off ambitions, which were backed up with a 2-1 over Torquay United at Vale Park. Haldane fired Vale in to a 42nd minute lead, which was cancelled out by Benyon in the 58th minute. Richards sealed the win with a goal in the 67th minute. Torquay United 21st, Port Vale 14th. Barnet and Cheltenham Town cancelled each other out at Underhill in a 1-1 draw. Thornhill gave the Robins the lead in the 20th minute, with Adomah levelling in the 35th minute. Barnet 17th, Cheltenham Town 22nd. The games involving Macclesfield (19th) and Accrington Stanley (12th) and Bradford City (16th) and Grimsby Town (23rd). Rochdale (1st) were left without a game as they were due to take on Notts County (7th), who were in turn involved with an FA Cup game against Premiership Fulham at Craven Cottage. County were thumped 4-0 by their Premiership hosts as Davies (22nd min), Zamora (41st min), Duff (73rd min) and Okaka (79th min) sealed a miserable afternoon for the lowest ranked side left in the competition.
