Tindall to help during injury crisis

29 July 2009 13:37
Boss Eddie Howe has turned to Tindall with Shaun Cooper sidelined through injury and loanees Joel Ward and Rhoys Wiggins no longer at the club. The League Two side are still unable to bring in players due to a Football League transfer embargo, so Tindall could be set to fill the void in the Cherries' defence. Howe told the Echo: "I spoke to Jason a couple of days ago and said he'd have to up his training and I'm almost treating him as a full-time player because we're so thin on the ground, especially with defenders." Meanwhile, Brett Pitman scored twice and trialist Steve Lovell was also on target as Howe's side beat Dorchester 4-1 on Tuesday night, with the third goal an own goal for the Cherries.
