Tindall frustrated by goalless draw
Vale goalkeeper Joe Anyon produced a string of fine saves to keep the Cherries at bay and deny them two important points in their quest for survival.
Tindall said: "Their keeper pulled off three great saves when it mattered and there was no way through.
"Lots of teams come here and play defensively but it is up to us to break them down."
The result ensured Bournemouth slipped back into the relegation zone as fellow strugglers Grimsby recorded a stunning 5-1 victory over Lincoln.
