The Versatility Of Jon Meades

The versatility of Jon Meades has been praised.

With limited opportunities to get a game at Dean Court, the 20-year-old has been farmed out on loan to League Two AFC Wimbledon on a 2-month deal to gain first team experience.

Dons boss, Neal Ardley, is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo on the capture as saying: "Jonathan came through the academy when I was at Cardiff. A big plus is that he can play in a number of positions. Although he is a left-back, he can also play in midfield and that is why I wanted him ahead of other players. Jonathan was in the same under-16s team at Cardiff as Adam Matthews, who is now at Celtic, but a few niggling injuries stopped him getting into the first-team squad at Cardiff".
