Symes still missing for Cherries

Manager Lee Bradbury will again be without Michael Symes as Bournemouth travel to Bristol Rovers. The eight-goal striker is back in training, but his abductor muscle has still not healed sufficiently for him to return. Bradbury, though, saw his striking options boosted during Friday's dramatic 3-3 draw with Peterborough after Steve Lovell made his first appearance of the season as a second-half substitute following an ankle injury. Lovell may again have to settle for a place on the bench, but the same cannot be said for player-assistant manager Steve Fletcher, who netted after coming off as a substitute against Posh. The Cherries have faltered lately, having not won in their last five games, but will be hoping to further cement their position in the npower League One play-off places by overcoming the Pirates.
