Symes set to play

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe will have striker Michael Symes fit and available when his side host Hartlepool. Symes has been struggling with a shoulder injury throughout the season but should be in contention, and he is likely to take the place of Josh McQuoid who left for Championship outfit Millwall before the end of the loan window. Other options include Nicholas Bignall and Danny Ings, who will be included in the squad after netting seven goals in 13 games while on loan at Dorchester. Marc Pugh should return from a knee injury after missing the 2-0 win over Yeovil and could go straight back into the starting line-up, but goalkeeper Shwan Jalal remains sidelined with a fractured eye socket as the Cherries look to extend a run of five games unbeaten in all competitions.
