Symes in Cherries frame

Bournemouth striker Michael Symes is pushing for a starting place for the visit of Exeter. Symes came off the bench to score a second-half penalty in the 2-0 win over Carlisle at the weekend and is in contention to start the game at Dean Court after returning from a shoulder injury. New loan signing Adam Smith will keep his place at right-back after an impressive debut while strikers Lee Bradbury and Steven Fletcher will have to settle with a place on the bench with Josh McQuoid continuing to lead the Cherries` frontline. On-loan goalkeeper Jon Stewart will once again be on the bench and Tim Stephenson is definitely ruled out after damaging knee ligaments while on reserve duty last week.
