Stockley Out On Loan

Jayden Stockley has been sent out on loan to gain match time.

In a bid to give Jayden Stockley some badly needed match time, something players outside the first time are going to struggle getting with the size of the squad, the youngster has been sent out on loan to Conference side Woking.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, manager Eddie Howe was quoted as saying on the move: "Jayden needs to play some football. With the size of our squad, it has been difficult to see him much either in training or in games. But he is someone we still hold in high regard. It will be interesting to see how he does on loan to a club at a decent level. He needs to go there and perform and do well to come back a better player. We have got good links with Woking and Jason (Tindall) has a good relationship with their manager Garry Hill from his Weymouth days. That is how the move came about. I think it will be a good move for him. It is a good level and it will definitely develop his game. He is still young and needs to be playing so, hopefully, he can go there and do that".

Stockley returns to Dean Court on January 5th.
