The Spireites manager guided his side undefeated through March, claiming six wins from nine games to leave the Spireites just one point off the play-off places. [LNB]Richardson held off competition from Bournemouth's Howe, Robins of Rotherham and Accrington boss Coleman to land the award.[LNB]"I don't see it as an award for myself, it is an acknowledgment of the club. The chairman and the board backed us in the January window and enabled us to bring in some players and the most important thing for me is my staff," he told Sky Sports News.[LNB]"The players on the pitch and in the squad have worked hard over the last few weeks.[LNB]"We tried to make sure we didn't do too much on the training ground as you have to be careful you don't expend too much energy and just let the games take care of themselves.[LNB]"This acknowledgment is nice, but it will fall flat if we don't do well towards the end of the season."[LNB][LNB] Coca Cola League 2 Promotion 08/09.
