Smith ready to bounce back

Bournemouth's on-loan Tottenham defender Adam Smith has vowed to pick himself up quickly after his sending off against Southampton. The weekend's game against Saints was the 19-year-old's third since joining for a month from Spurs and it ended badly when he was dismissed for two bookings picked up in the space of 19 second-half minutes. Smith told the Bournemouth Daily Echo: "It was disappointing, especially so late in the game and when we were already 2-0 down, and now I will miss the Brighton game. "With it being the international break, it would have been a good game to be involved in but I can't do anything about it so will have to learn from it and look forward to the next game, if I get picked." Smith added that he hopes to extend his stay at Dean Court which is due to end following the home clash with MK Dons a week on Saturday. "If both parties are keen then I would like to stay. It will be up to the manager here and my manager at Spurs."
