Smith: Cherries will continue to improve

Bournemouth loanee Adam Smith believes the club will continue to do well in League One if they maintain their natural passing game. The 19-year-old, who recently extended his loan from Spurs until January 3, has impressed for the second-placed Cherries since joining on an initial month-long deal in September, featuring in victories over MK Dons, Carlisle and Exeter, the draw with Sheffield Wednesday and the derby defeat to Southampton when he was sent off. Smith is loving his time on the south coast and has been impressed with the style of football that Eddie Howe's team play. He told the Bournemouth Echo: "I knew when I came here that we played nice football, so that was good. Usually, everyone thinks League One teams just kick it, but it's good that we play football and we're different. "Against Sheffield Wednesday in the first half, we passed the ball very well, the best I had seen. If we do that away from home, it shows we've improved since the beginning of the season and, hopefully, we can improve even more. "If we pass the ball more that can only help us as individuals and as a team. Also, I'll get the ball more and be able to do more stuff, so it's going to help me in my performance."
