Sheringham & Flahavan Set To Return

Charlie Sheringham and Darryl Flahavan are set to return to action in the Hampshire Senior Cup.

It's been 14 months since Charlie Sheringham last played a match, being forced off in a League One match at Brentford on Boxing Day last season having netted his first league goal for the Cherries before the fateful injury.

Darryl Flahavan is returning, having had shoulder surgery during the pre-season build up.

Development Squad manager, Chris Hargreaves, is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "You are just champing at the bit to get back on the field of play. You see the other lads playing and training every day and just desperately want to get in to help. For those two boys in particular, it is just a matter of playing football again and having that match situation because that is what they are missing. They can train for hours and weeks on end but a game is totally different".
