Rhoys Wiggins commits himself to the Cherries as they attempt to win promotion via the play-offs. He may have submitted a transfer request earlier in the season, but Rhoys Wiggins has committed himself to the Cherries play-off campaign as they bid for promotion to the Championship. Wiggy is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "You want to play as high as you can and the aim at the moment is to reach the Championship with Bournemouth. I have never said I was not happy here. When these opportunities arise, you are never sure whether they will come around again. The goal is to get into the Championship with Bournemouth and I am 100 per cent committed to that. Football is a short career and, if you want to progress, you have to take opportunities when they come. I want to get into the Championship and, in the long run, into the Premier League. Whoever I can do it with, brilliant. If it is Bournemouth, even better. I always give 100 per cent. I have never gone into a game and given anything less. It wasn’t the case that I said to the manager that I wouldn’t play for the club if they didn’t let me go. I want to play and am 100 per cent committed, all the time".
