The race is on for Tolkeo Rantie to be available for Saturday's clash against Blackpool.

The clock is ticking for the Cherries record signing to be available in time for the match against Blackpool (Sept 14 @ 1500) as the paper work needed for him to join officially needs to be completed.

So far, the Club have secured a work permit, as well as international clearance, The remaining piece to be slotted in to place is a visa to enter the country, which is being processed by the UK Embassy in South Africa.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Eddie Howe is quoted as saying: "We are hoping to get everything finalised before Saturday but we are in the hands of the authorities. We are hopeful he will be here because we think he would give everyone a boost. It doesn’t make my plans difficult and it would be great to have him involved for Saturday. We will give him all the time he needs to try to get everything sorted and to get himself here. These things take time and there are processes you have to go through. I don’t anticipate any problems. We are just in a race against the clock".
