Bournemouth new-boy Marc Pugh is relishing the chance to pit himself against Premier League side Tottenham this weekend. The forward, who scored 13 goals for Hereford last term, sealed a move to the League One newcomers earlier this summer. Pugh looks set to make his first appearance in a Bournemouth shirt when Spurs visit Dean Court on Saturday and he told the club's official website: "I'm looking forward to the challenge ahead and I'm pleased to be here. "Pre-season is important because it's a big season for us and we need to prepare properly to get a good start. Since I came down here for pre-season, you can see just how good the team spirit that the side had last year is. "They are a great bunch of lads have made all the new players very welcome. I'm looking forward to running out at Dean Court as a Bournemouth player on Saturday. "Tottenham is a big game and it's one where we have to go out and enjoy ourselves. I've played at Dean Court as an opposition player and it's a great stadium to play at and the supporters give the players a big lift, so it's something I'm looking forward to."
