Shaun MacDonald speaks of the importance of getting more points on the board.

Cherries midfielder, Shaun MacDonald has spoken about the need to get more points on the board as well as the fact that his contract is due for renewal next Summer.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, the Welsh Zidane is quoted as saying: "To be perfectly honest, I am concentrating on doing well for the club and doing well for the new gaffer. It hasn’t really crossed my mind. I did sign a two-year contract and I am up at the end of this season, but I am not really that worried about it and am more worried about getting points for Bournemouth and getting wins. I wanted to play football and I have done that. We are trying to play football in the right way and, under the new manager, we are still doing the right things and we are getting wins. So, I have got no reason not to want to stay and, of course, I want to stay, and it is something I will look into maybe later on in the season as the season goes on".
