Players Can Handle The Pressure

New signing, Tommy Elphick has insisted that his new team mates can handle the pressure with promotion expectations still on the cards after heaving spending.

With the Cherries spending like never before, and an ever growing squad, expectation levels at Dean Court have soared in recent times, despite an indifferent start to the season as far as results have been concerned.

Summer signing, Tommy Elphick, is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "There is a lot of expectation on us this season. We have had a lot of coverage from the press so I can understand the fans are getting frustrated. But we are a young and hungry team and are going to strive for what we all want to achieve and that is promotion. Everyone in the changing room wants to be playing in the Championship and our expectations match those of the supporters. I experienced the same at Brighton. We can kill games and kill atmospheres and it is not always the most exciting to watch. But that is our philosophy and that is what we think is going to work best for us this season. We know winning over the supporters with some good results would help everyone".
