The Cherries, who were docked 17 points at the start of the season, took another step towards securing League Two safety thanks to Pitman's goalscoring masterclass. The Channel Islander claimed his first senior hat-trick and a fine Liam Feeney strike lifted Eddie Howe's men four points above the relegation zone. Pitman told the club's official website: "The most important thing was always the three points and to win 4-0 with me getting a hat-trick was nice. "It's my first hat-trick for the first team and my dad was here as well, so I'm delighted. "He only decided the night before to come over, so I was pleased he was here."
