Pitman set for Robins switch
Bristol City have agreed a deal to sign Bournemouth striker Brett Pitman and are also closing in on the capture of Ipswich forward Jon Stead.
Pitman, 22, has agreed personal terms with the Robins and is set to sign for an undisclosed fee on Monday, subject to a medical.
The Jersey-born forward looked set to move to Premier League new-boys Blackpool earlier in the week but failed to agree a deal with the Seasiders after Bournemouth accepted a bid.
