Joe Partington wants to follow in the foot steps of Josh McQuoid. With the success of Josh McQuoid, fellow graduate of the Cherries youth set up, Joe Partington wants to follow in McQuoid's foot steps with a run in the first team for the Cherries. Currently out on loan with Eastbourne Borough with Mitchell Nelson, the 20 year old is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I’ve been wanting to play games for a while and I’m thankful to the manager and to Eastbourne for letting me play some football. It’s something that will benefit me as a footballer and, hopefully, improve me for when I come back to Bournemouth. I’m still young and I haven’t really played much football for a 20-year-old. Looking back at Bournemouth and seeing how Josh has come on since he’s been playing football regularly, I’m looking up to him and seeing if I can do the same thing. Josh made the most of his appearances off the bench and tried to make an impact when he was coming on. He was given his chance when Brett left, he’s playing and he’s been brilliant. I’m chuffed to bits for him. He’s been one of my good friends for a number of years and it’s great to see him doing so well. Hopefully, looking up to Josh, I might be able to, one day, do the same".
