Our Best Has Yet To Come - Cook

With the Cherries sitting pretty in mid table in the Championship, Steve Cook has gone on record to say that the best has yet to come from the Cherries this season.

Many might be surprised with the Cherries being able to hold their own in the Championship so far this season, having not been out played, or out classed by many teams its' clear that the squad are growing in confidence after their early season drubbings at Watford and Huddersfield Town.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Steve Cook is quoted as saying: "They are doing well and, hopefully, we can keep them quiet. We would like a clean sheet – we haven’t had one for a while – so it would be a perfect place to go and get one. It is going to be a big challenge and one that we are looking forward to. Confidence is still high and we still feel we can go to places like that and get a positive result, which is important. We have worked hard again this week and, hopefully, we can put it into practice. This league was always going to be tough but we are all looking forward to the challenges ahead. We feel we can be a lot better as a team. I don’t think we have played at our best many times this season. If we go out there with the right attitude, defend well and take our chances, then we can go and win the game".
