Here's the round up of the weekend action around League One. Sheffield Wednesday walked away from Victoria Park with an emphatic 5-0 over Hartlepool United. A Murray own goal in the 8th minute set the scene for the win, which was followed before the break with strikes from Coke (10th min) and Mellor (23rd min), which was followed by Tudgay (73rd min pen) and Morrison in the 93rd minute. Hartlepool United 13th, Sheffield Wednesday 1st. Peterborough United found their travel legs with a fine 3-0 win over Plymouth Argyle at Home Park. A brace from Mackail-Smith (61st and 75th min) was followed by a strike from Mclean in the 77th minute to seal the win. Plymouth Argyle 17th, Peterborough United 2nd. Colchester United are without a win at home this season at their Weston Homes Community Stadium following a 1-1 draw against Carlisle United on Friday evening. Mooney had given the home side a 29th minute lead, only to see Thirlwell bag an equaliser, and a share of the points in the 93rd minute. Colchester United 9th, Carlisle United 3rd. AFC Bournemouth were denied a win at Dean Court by a determined Notts County side. McQuoid (3rd and 25th mins) and Robinson (28th min) set up a 3-0 lead with the Cherries seemingly in cruise control. Burgess pulled one back on the half hour mark with Westcarr (91st min) and Smith (95th min) staging a last gasp come back to seal a share of the spoils. AFC Bournemouth 5th, Notts County 18th. Huddersfield Town claimed the valuable scalp of Charlton Athletic at the Galpharm Stadium. Rhodes (39th min), McCombe (42nd min) and Roberts (82nd min) put the result beyond doubt, leaving Fry to score a 92nd minute consolation. Huddersfield Town 6th, Chalrton Athletic 8th. Brighton & Hove Albion managed to hold on to the points against Walsall at Withdean. Barnes (68th min) and Painter (81st min) gave the Seagulls a 2-goal lead with Macken setting up a nervy finish with a 92nd minute strike, but it was too little too late for the Saddlers. Brighton & Hove Albion 7th, Walsall 10th. The Franchise holders managed to come from behind to take the points from Swindon Town at Stadium:Franchise, this after Cuthbert gave Town the lead on the stroke of half time. A Baldock brace in the 72nd and 73rd minutes turned the game around to ensure that the points were remaining at home. Franchise FC 11th, Swindon Town 20th. Rochdale claimed their first win since taking their place in League One with a fine 3-1 win over Brentford at Griffin Park. Elding gave Dale the lead in the 11th minute, with Simpson levelling in the 27th minute. The win was confirmed when O'Grady and Kennedy netted for the visitors in the 60th and 62nd minute to leave their hosts propping up the table. Brentford 24th, Rochdale 12th. Southampton are off the mark with their first win of the season following an emphatic 4-0 thumping of Bristol Rovers at The Memorial Stadium. Fonte (10th min), Lallana (34th min), Lambert (59th min pen) and Barnard (91st min) scored the goals to ease their way past the Pirates. Bristol Rovers 19th, Southampton 14th. Leyton Orient eased their way past Exeter City at Brisbane Road to record their first win of the season. Revell (39th min), McGleish (70th min) and Cox (80th min) did what was required to keep the points in East London. Leyton Orient 15th, Exeter City 21st. An early relegation 6-pointer at Victoria Road perhaps as Dagenham & Redbridge faced Tranmere Rovers. Vindelot (52nd min) andArber (71st min) goals for the Daggers were cancelled out by Showumni (78th min) and Cresswell (88th min) as the spoils were shared. Dagenham & Redbridge 23rd, Tranmere Rovers 22nd. The only other game in League One saw Oldham Athletic (4th) held to a 0-0 draw by Yeovil Town (16th) at Boundary Park.
