Manager Martin Allen was quoted after the defeat at Dean Court as saying: "We had some good chances. We played very well and the players were very committed. It was always going to be a tough game down here against a team that's just recently spent a lot of money bringing in some good players. They certainly weren't better than us, that's for sure. I think the commitment and the energy has been there from the players but in both boxes, these little errors have crept in and we've not taken our chances at the other end".
