Nottingham Forest Reaction - Cherries

20 October 2013 17:25
Here's the post match reaction from a bouyant Cherries camp after the 1-1 draw at the City Ground.

Speaking after the match, skipper, Simon Francis was quoted as saying on the Clubs Official Web Site about the draw: "We have got belief in the squad and it's getting stronger every week. We have a lot of young players that could go to places like Nottingham Forest and be over awed by it, but they're not. Young players like Steve Cook and Harry Arter stand out every week no matter who they are playing against. They are fearless and they showed that because we didn't play our best football by all means. People will look at it and say we have done well to get a point, but if they watched the game then they would have seen that we had the better chances. We could have gone on and won the game, but we can't complain because we have got a draw against a team that will probably be up there at the end of the season. It's a good point. If we had won then it would have been the perfect afternoon. It just about compares to the Charlton result at the start of the season for me and it was nice to have my family in the stands. It would have been disappointing to see them after the game having lost".
