Not Looking At League Table

Manager Eddie Howe admits that he's not looking at the League Two table as the climax to the season draws closer. With a handful of matches left, manager Eddie Howe admits that he's not looking at the League Two table, even with the Cherries 5-points ahead of Rotherham United in the race for automatic promotion. Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Howe is quoted as saying: "I don’t look at the league table and think ‘oh great, now we can take our foot off the pedal because we’ve got a five-point cushion’. It’s five now and I want us to make it eight. That’s the mentality we’ve got to have. We certainly don’t think the job is done because a lot can change. You only have to look at some of the other teams that have slipped up recently. You can easily go from a good run to a bad one and we don’t want to take that chance. It will be full steam ahead for us for the remaining games".
