With promotion to the Championship secured for next season, the Cherries are now targeting the League One title this coming weekend to round off a remarkable season.
Skipper, Tommy Elphick, and Exiles Player Of The Season, is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "We will be looking to extend that at Tranmere. The title is there for us to win now. We will be going there all systems go and looking to get another three points. When you look back at things, you want to be seen as winners and not runners-up. It means a lot so we will be having a good week’s training and not resting up. With people like Brett Pitman and Harry Arter in our team, we have always got a chance to win games. Brett has been worth his weight in gold since he came back in".
