The temporary structure being built at the previously open South End of the ground will be in time for the glamour tie against Real Madrid on July 21st (ko @ 1945). When complete the ground capacity will be taken up to approximately 12000.
Chairman Eddie Mitchell is quoted as saying in the Bournemouth Evening Echo: "In a way, we were hoping we might get an away game first to give us a few more days, but we didn’t. Now we have booked this game, it is an even bigger task. But it is well under way and we will get it done in time. We are also aiming to get the shop finished for then, so it should be a great evening".
