The loan of Lee Camp has been extended.

With the Cherries struggling for experienced goal keepers, the Club has agreed to extend the loan of Lee Camp from West Bromwich Albion until January 1st.

Manager Eddie Howe is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying on the experienced keeper: "He has had a long career in the Championship and that shows in his performances and his demeanour. He has been excellent for us. He played very well at Burnley and he played really well against Derby. His kicking has been excellent and with how we play, that is so important. We are really pleased with him. Hopefully, he has enjoyed his time with us and, hopefully, he will continue to impress us".

On the extension, Camp was quoted as saying: "I am really happy. I hadn’t played for a while but I feel as if I have hit the ground running. Whether it is short, medium or long term, you cannot predict the future, but I have got an opportunity to play and give a good account of myself. Hopefully, if I can do that, Bournemouth will benefit from it and I will benefit".
