AFC Bournemouth have announced that they have appointed Steve Gritt as their new Chief Scout. Following the controversial departure of Des Taylor towards the beginning of July, AFC Bournemouth have now announced the appointment of Steve Gritt as their new Chief Scout. On the appointment, manager Lee Bradbury is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "Steve is 100 per cent serious about his work and has got a great background in the game, having managed and coached. He has got a lot of good contacts and has been in the game for a long time. We have brought him on board and know he will be another good addition. The role of chief scout is very important for me. He will compile player reports and team assessments that we will use to prepare for matches".
