Nelson ready for Spurs start
Mitchell Nelson is looking forward to Bournemouth`s first pre-season friendly against Tottenham.
The defender, who joined the newly promoted League One club from Tooting & Mitcham this summer, hopes to catch the manager`s eye against Spurs on Saturday as he aims to secure a place in the side when the season kicks off on August 7.
He said: "Pre-season has been really good and I can`t wait to get out at Dean Court for the first friendly.
"Obviously all the lads look at a game like Tottenham and are excited by it.
"But I will put everything into all of the pre-season games because, like the rest of the lads, I want to force my way into the team for the game at Charlton."
