Money Will Not be Wasted - Mitchell

Eddie Mitchell says that the compensation from Burnley will not be wasted. With Howe and Tindall gone, and a reported £300k to be paid in compensation, Chairman Eddie Mitchell has stated that the money to be paid to the Cherries will not be wasted. Mitchell is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "From people that have advised me and as far as manager’s contracts go, we are happy with the level of compensation. You are less able to predict the future, which leads me to believe that what we will receive is acceptable to the club. It is not as if we are going to get a huge windfall because it will come in stage payments. We are in a position to spend on a new manager but are not in a position to waste money. While there might be a few proven managers out there, they are obviously in the position they are in because they have failed somewhere in their career. And we are not going to bid other clubs to take away their managers".
