Mitchell warns McQuoid suitors

Bournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell has issued a `hands-off' warning to clubs circling around hat-trick hero Josh McQuoid. The 20-year-old striker's reputation has rocketed on the back of his successive trebles against Tranmere, in the FA Cup, and in Saturday's 3-0 win over Walsall. "Clubs would be daft if they didn't look at him but, at this moment in time, we're hoping to retain his services for quite a long time," Mitchell told the Echo. "I think he's been tremendous all season, not just in the past few weeks. "He's certainly shone since the start of the season and he's a big asset to the club and we want to keep him here."
