Mitchell issues hands-off warning

Bournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell is hoping the Cherries can fend off further interest for their players following the departure of star striker Brett Pitman. Pitman completed a move to Bristol City this week but Mitchell insists he wants to keep the rest of the squad intact. "There is interest but I think we will stay with the players we have got," Mitchell told the Bournemouth Daily Echo. "There is bound to be interest because we have got a good squad. "We certainly don't want to lose any more players but I can only reiterate what I said about Brett. I was hoping he would stay but, obviously, he wanted to go and terms were agreed."
