Following his (clearly) drunken and foul mouthed rant on BBC Radio 5 Live's 606 programme after the game against Franchise FC, Eddie Mitchell has been fined £1500 by the Football Association following a hearing in London.
A short statement on the FAs web site reads: "AFC Bournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell has been fined £1,500 by The FA after admitting a charge of failing to act in the best interests of the game and/or using improper language.
The charge was in relation to an interview he gave on a national radio station. Mitchell, who requested a personal hearing, was also warned as to his future conduct".
