McQuoid brimming with confidence - Howe

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe feels Josh McQuoid will benefit from his first experience of international football. The striker has been called up by Northern Ireland for their latest friendly against Morocco after scoring two hat-tricks in as many games. Howe is delighted for McQuoid and knows he will perform well if given the chance. "He's very, very confident at the moment and that's a big part of any striker's game," he told the Bournemouth Daily Echo. "Hopefully, whatever happens, the experience will do him the world of good. Being away with international players can only make him a better player, so it's great. "He's been playing well. He went through a spell where he didn't score but he was playing well and contributing to the team. Now he's got the goals to back up those performances, so I'm sure Josh couldn't be feeling any better."
