With McQuoid returning to Dean Court after an 18-month absence, the 22-year old is looking to turn the fans around, especially those who thought that he was moving because of a financial enticement to go to SE London.
Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, McQuoid is quoted as saying: "It is not a problem for me if people have their own opinions. Not all of it is always true so they don’t know the full story. But, hopefully, they can get back on my side because I want the team to do well. I will be doing my best to make the team do well so, hopefully, I can win them over with my performances. I grew up with the club and it is a great club to be at. It means a lot to me for the club to be doing well so, hopefully, I can be a part of that".
