Having been out of action since the Chesterfield defeat back in September, Shaun MacDonald could be available to play in the Boxing Day clash against Brentford at Griffin Park.
Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, manager Lee Bradbury is quoted as saying: "He is a really good player, really bright, really good going forward and a good passer of the ball. He should be back for the Christmas and New Year period. He has been great. He has been really frustrated and has been ringing me to apologise for being injured. That is the type of lad he is. He hasn’t got to apologise. He is so keen to get back and get playing. He wants to prove to everyone what a good player he is".
