Here's the round up of the action around League One. Sheffield Wednesday (1st) will be top at the beginning of the new week despite not playing until Sunday when they travel to face Brentford (24th) at Griffin Park. Carlisle United couldn't take full advantage of Sheffield Wednesday not playing til Sunday as they could only draw 0-0 against lowly Swindon Town at Brunton Park. Carlisle United 2nd, Swindon Town 23rd. Oldham Athletic were held at home by Bristol Rovers at Boundary Park. Hoskins gave the Pirate the lead in the 8th minute, only to see Taylor level on the stroke of half time. Oldham Athletic 3rd, Bristol Rovers 17th. Peterborough United slipped up on their travels against Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park as the home side claimed their first win of the campaign. Mendy scored the only goal of the game in the 44th minute. Tranmere Rovers 15th, Peterborough United 4th. Colchester United managed to sneak at win at Bescot against Walsall. Bond scored the winner in the 83rd minute. Walsall 13th, Colchester United 5th. Franchise FC managed to claim a 1-0 win over Hartlepool United at Stadium:Franchise after Guy netted the winner in the 77th minute. Franchise FC 6th, Hartlepool United 16th. AFC Bournemouth managed to snatch a point away against Huddersfield Town at the Galpharm Stadium, that after McQuoid gave the Cherries the lead in the 33rd minute. Kay levelled for the home side in first half stoppage time, with Roberts giving the home side the lead from the penalty spot 3 minutes after the restart. Pugh ensured that the Dorset side came away with a point with an equaliser in the 78th minute. Huddersfield Town 8th, AFC Bournemouth 7th. Rochdale pulled off an unlikely with away at South Coast Club at St Mary's as O'Grady (45+1 min) and Jones (68th min) ensured that the points were heading north. South Coast Club 18th, Rochdale 9th. Exeter City managed to snatch a last gasp winner against Charlton Athletic at St James's Park as Harley scored a 93rd minute penalty. Exeter City 14th, Charlton Athletic 11th. Notts County managed to chalk up the biggest win of the day in League One as they easily saw off Yeovil Town at Meadow Lane. Goals from Westcarr (24th min), a brace from Davies (29th and 45+3 mins) and Hughes (73rd min) was more than enough to see off the visitors. Notts County 12th, Yeovil Town 22nd. Dagenham & Redbridge managed to claim their first win of the season with a local derby win over Leyton Orient at Victoria Road. A brace from Vindelot in the 8th and 50th minutes was enough to claim local bragging rights. Dagenham & Redbridge 19th, Leyton Orient 20th. The match between Plymouth Argyle (21st) and Brighton & Hove Albion (10th) was postponed until September 21st.
