Tranmere Rovers seemed to be heading for their third defeat of the week but managed to rescue a point. Preston North End were the visitors to Prenton Park where Huntington gave PNE the lead in the 50th minute. A point was rescued by Cassidy in the 85th minute. Crawley Town have snuck up in to the automatic promotion places, but had to come from behind to claim a point against Oldham Athletic at the Broadfield Stadium after both sides were reduced to 10-men. Baxter gave the Latics the lead in the 67th minute only to see McFadzean level in the 79th minute. Crawley Town 2nd, Oldham Athletic 17th.
A remarkable result was witnessed at Broadhall Way where Swindon Town ran riot, claiming a 4-0 win over high flying Stevenage Borough. Goals from De Vita (17th min), Ritchie (31st min), Storey (38th min), and Rooney (62nd min) proved to be more than Borough could cope with. Stevenage Borough 3rd, Swindon Town 7th.
Doncaster Rovers are back in to the play-off places following a 2-0 win over Notts County at Meadow Lane, compounding the home jinx being experienced by the Magpies. Goals from keegan (61st min) and Brown 2 minutes later sealed the points. Notts County 6th, Doncaster Rovers 5th.
Franchise FC sealed a comprehensive 3-0 win over Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park as a brace from Chadwick (17th and 30th min) plus one from Smith (60th min) sealed the win to keep Scunny in the bottom-4. Scunthorpe United 22nd, Franchise FC 8th.
After their recent stutter, Yeovil Town appear to be back on track, their latest win coming on the road at Gresty Road against Crewe Alexandra. Webster scored the only goal in the 40th minute. Crewe Alexandra 18th, Yeovil Town 10th.
Brentford were the closest to claiming a home win in League One over Hartlepool United, but blew that chance in the final minute. A Hayes brace (11th and 58th minutes) was punctuated with a Dean own goal in the 25th minute. With all 3-points seemingly staying in SW London, Craig netted a second own goal in the 90th minute to make sure that the points were shared. Brentford 11th, Hartlepool United 24th.
Shrewsbury Town came from behind to claim a share of the spoils against Colchester United at the New Meadow. Eastmond (3rd min) and Watt (62nd min) gave ColU a 2-goal cushion before a Hall brace in the 79th and 82nd minutes ensured that the points were shared. Shrewsbury Town 20th, Colchester United 12th.
Bury and Walsall shared the points at Gigg Lane as the scoring was done and dusted in the opening 11 minutes. Grigg gave the Saddlers the lead in the 7th minute, with Poleon levelling in the 11th minute. Bury 23rd, Walsall 13th.
AFC Bournemouth claimed a decent 4-2 away win against Carlisle United at Brunton Park. Pugh gave the Cherries an 8th minute lead, with Noble levelling 10 minutes later. Pugh restored the advantage just after the half hour, which was added to by Grabban (51st min) and Barnard (61st min), leaving Symington to net what proved to be a consolation in the 76th minute. Coventry City managed to claim a single goal win over Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road as the West Midlands side had McGoldrick to thank for his 7th minute strike. Leyton Orient 19th, Coventry City 21st.
