Here's our take of the League One action as the division goes mad as 48 goals are scored in the 12 matches played.

Charlton Athletic led by example at the top with a comfortable 4-0 win over Hartlepool United at Victoria Road. Wright-Phillips netted a brace in the 9th and 37th minutes, with Hollands (55th min) and Wagstaff (84th min) completed the win. Hartlepool United 13th, Charlton Athletic 1st.

Huddersfield Town could only manage a single goal win over struggling Yeovil Town at Huish Park as Robinson scored the winner in the 80th minute. Yeovil Town 24th, Huddersfield Town 2nd.

Even though Ibe levelled for the Chairboys 6 minutes later, Lowe scored what proved to be the winner 6 minutes later to restore the single goal advantage. Wycombe Wanderers 23rd, Sheffield Wednesday 3rd.

What on earth was going on at Bramhall Lane? Either both defences were poor, or the respective front lines were simply explosive as the Sheffield United and Exeter City shared an 8-goal thriller. Nardiello (9th min) and Noble (23rd min) gave teh Devon side an unlikely 2-goal lead. The Blades turned the game around with goals from M Phillips (45th min), Clarke (65th min) and Lowton (70th min) looked to have restored order for the home side. O'Flynn levelled for the Devonians in the 82nd minute, with M Phillips restoring the advantage in 3 minutes later. Dunne finished off a remarkable day with the 8th goal of the game in the 86th minute to make it 4-4. Sheffield United 4th, Exeter City 19th.

Franchise FC managed to sneak back in to the play-off places following a 2-0 win over Walsall at Bescot. Lewington (35th min) and Ibehre (45th min) secured the win after Walker was sent off for the home side in the 33rd minute. Walsall 20th, Franchise FC 5th.

Colchester United managed to rattle 4 past Notts County at their Community Stadium. After a goal less first half, Wordsworth gave the U's the lead in the 49th minute. Sodje levelled for the Magpies 9 minutes later, but that spurred Antonio (66th min), Henderson (71st min) and Odejayi (74th min) in to a goal scoring spree, leaving Heath with the 'simple' task of an own goal for the visitors in the 93rd minute. Colchester United 12th, Notts County 6th.

Scunthorpe United managed to chalk up just their 2nd home win of the campaign with a 4-2 win over Tranmere Rovers at Glanford Park. Tyriaki netted a brace for the vistors with goals in the 4th and 32nd minutes. Duffy (20th min) and Grant (44th min) made sure that it was level at the break. Dagnall (52nd min) and a 2nd for Grant, from the penalty spot in the 67th minute, ensured that Scunny kept the points. Scunthorpe United 15th, Tranmere Rovers 7th.

Brentford had to battle against Chesterfield for their 2-1 win at Griffin Park. Saunders gave the Bees the lead in the 24th minute, with Clarke levelling 3 minutes later. Bennett scored the winner with 8 minutes left on the clock. Brentford 8th, Chesterfield 22nd.

Oldham Athletic will be kicking themselves for not walking away with 3-points at Brunton Park against Carlisle United. The Latics raced in to a 3-goal lead with strikes from Kuqi (22nd and 38th mins), and Adeyemi (33rd min), with the Cumbrians responding through Miller on the stroke of half time, then a Zoko brace in the 48th and 94th minutes.
