Stevenage Borough had to come from behind to gain a draw against managerless AFC Bournemouth at Broadhall Way as Thomas (18th min) and Malone (36th min) fired the Cherries in to a 2-goal lead. Colchester United are back to their Jeckyll and Hyde ways, going down to a 3-1 defeat at struggling Walsall who gave their chances of staying up a huge boost, even though Wordsworth gave ColU the lead at Bescot in the 11th minute. Goals from Ledesma (38th min), Sadler (44th min), and Bowerman (73rd) ensured that the points remained in the West Midlands, with the result also seeing the Saddlers climb back above the dreaded dotted line leading to League Two. Leyton Orient eased fears of being dragged too much in to a relegation dog-fight with a 1-0 win over Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park.
