Here's our round up of the League One action as the finishing line edges closer. It's not often that a full League One programme sees no game net more than 2 goals.

Charlton Athletic slipped up against play-off chasing Huddersfield Town at the Galpharm as Rhodes netted the only goal of the game, from the penalty spot, in the 14th minute. Huddersfield Town 4th, Charlton Athletic 1st.

Sheffield Wednesday took advantage of their Steel City neighbours being out of action, with a 1-0 win over Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road. Johnson scored the only goal of the game in the 49th minute. Leyton Orient 18th, Sheffield Wednesday 2nd.

Franchise FC will be kicking themselves as they were eventually held by battling Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park. Powell gave the Franchisee's the lead just after half time, only to see Beavon snatch a draw a 92nd minute. Wycombe Wanderers 20th, Franchise FC 5th.

Carlisle United had to come from behind to snatch a point against Colchester United at the Community Stadium. Rowlands put ColU ahead in the 51st minute, with Berrett levelling in the 68th minute for the Cumbrians. Colchester United 9th, Carlisle United 6th.

Walsall were thwarted in their attempts to lift their heads above the dreaded dotted line, being held to a 1-1 draw by Stevenage Borough at Bescot. Butler gave the Saddlers the lead in the 3rd minute, with Bostwick levelling in the 60th minute. Walsall 21st, Stevenage Borough 7th.

Brentford managed to get back to winning ways with a 2-0 win over struggling Rochdale at Griffin Park. Goals from Diagouraga (32nd min) and Donaldson (85th min) sealed the win to leave Rochdale deep in trouble. Brentford 10th, Rochdale 22nd.

After their recent wobble, Hartlepool United got back to winning ways, bringing to an end Yeovil Town's recent surge up the table. Noble scored the only goal of the game in the 65th minute to seal the win. Yeovil Town 16th, Hartlepool United 11th.

Having been in difficulty a few weeks ago, Tranmere Rovers find themselves back in midtable following a 2-0 win over stuggling Exeter City at Prenton Park. Labadie gave Rovers the lead in the 49th minute, with Cassidy putting the result beyond doubt in the 93rd minute to leave the Grecians (effectively) 7 points short of safety. Tranmere Rovers 12th, Exeter City 23rd.

A largely dull midtable enounter saw Oldham Athletic edge AFC Bournemouth at Boundary Park as Taylor scored the only goal of the game 7 minutes after the re-start. Oldham Athletic 14th, AFC Bournemouth 13th.

Preston North End and Bury managed to see their way to a 1-1 draw at Deepdale. Aneke put PNE ahead in the 68th minute, with Elford-Alliyu levelling in the 93rd minute. Preston North End 15th, Bury 19th.

The only other game played saw Scunthorpe United (17th) draw 0-0 at Notts County (8th) at Glanford Park.
