Here's the round up of the mid-week action around League One. Huddersfield Town maintained their place in the automatic promotion places, but left it late to do so at Griffin Park against Brentford. Clarke scored the only goal of the game in the 92nd minute to secure the win. Brentford 15th, Huddersfield Town 2nd. Peterborough United are hot on the heels of the automatic promotion places following an emphatic 4-1 win against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough. The divisions leading scorer, Mackail-Smith gave the Posh the lead in the 25th minute, which quickly became 3-0 before the break as Tomlin (35th min), and Boyd (41st min) asserted Posh's stamp on the match. Heffernan pulled one back for the Owls, but it was no where enough as Boyd scored his second of the evening in the 81st minute. Sheffield Wednesday 16th, Peterborough United 3rd. Leyton Orient are closing in on a play-off place after a 1-0 away win at Hartlepool United at the Victoria Ground. Smith scored the only goal of the game in the 28th minute. Hartlepool United 8th, Leyton Orient 7th. Plymouth Argyle battled back to salvage a point against Carlisle United at Brunton Park after Berrett gave the Cumbrians the lead in the 34th minute. Bolasie rescued Argyle with 6 minutes to spare to lifrt them off the foot of the table. Carlisle United 9th, Plymouth Argyle 22nd. Rochdale edged out Notts County at Spotland with a 1-0 win. Dawson scored the only goal of the game just after half time. Rochdale 11th, Notts County 17th.
