Joe Roach Leaves Dean Court

Inspirational youth team coach, Joe Roach, has left Dean Court. Of all the personell at Dean Court to go, this is the worst possible news to be announced by the Club - Joe Roach has left Dean Court. The inspirational youth team coach, credited with bring through many youth players to the Cherries first team, has departed AFC Bournemouth. Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Eddie Mitchell is quoted on the departure as saying: "It is with regret that Joe Roach has decided to leave the club after 10 years’ loyal service and much success. We as a club, and myself personally, would like to thank Joe for his service to AFC Bournemouth and we would all like to wish him well for the future. There is no real explanation for Joe’s departure. My own opinion is that Joe has reflected on the speed of which the club has changed and is at an age where he felt he would be more comfortable with new challenges. I know there will be some angry and dismayed supporters out there tonight and I have already received many unjustified emails. I think it is very unfair to point the blame at anyone. Nothing in this world lasts forever as much as we would like it to at times. I would just like to reiterate that we wish Joe all the success in the future and I am sure all supporters will join us in our wishes".
