Injury Woes For Daniels

Left back Charlie Daniels is frustrated by the injury that's keeping him out for the time being as he's more than keen to get back in to the starting line up.

Having played with an injury to a foot in the FA Cup against Wigan last month, Charlie Daniels has been forced to sit and watch the first team shoot to the top of the table, while he's been side lined since the end of January.

The latest position is that he's been told to rest for a further fortnight to see if the injury calms down, otherwise he's looking at the prospect of an operation, which is likely to keep him out for the remainder of the season.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Daniels is quoted as sagying: "Frustrating is the main word. I am not the greatest watcher in the world anyway. But it is what it is and you just have to get on with it. The lads are doing really well at the minute. It is all going in the right direction. Hopefully, if it settles down in the next two weeks, I can avoid the operation".
