Individual Fitness Programmes Helping

Each player has had an individual fitness regime to follow during the closed season. Liam Feeney revealed that each player has had their own fitness regime to follow during the closed season to ensure fitness for pre-season as the clubs gears up for the new season on August 6th. Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Feeney is quoted as saying: "We all got programmes to do. We played a lot of games last season so it was important to have two or three weeks where we didn’t do a lot. Then you get into your programmes and keep yourself ticking over before picking it up a bit. Towards the last few weeks of the off season, you are ready to come back flying. The lads have kept themselves in great shape and I think that showed on Tuesday. The programmes were all individually set so everyone had their own things to do. I followed it, as all the lads did, and I feel really sharp now. Louis Langdown made sure we got a good rest and people could see we came back sharp against Hamworthy Recreation".
